Carevan

The Carevan Foundation aims to create a sense of identity, a sense of belonging and a sense of achievement in those less advantaged in our society. The Foundation is focused on changing "us" and "them" to become "we". After almost a year, the Carevan in Albury Wodonga has become an icon, a symbol that this community cares, and that a community through a strong volunteer network can fight hunger and poverty. "Sometimes a feeling from the heart becomes a jigsaw puzzle that is meant to be put together".

Sun Smiles

Sun Smiles is an oral health promotion and caries prevention program. The goal is to improve oral hygiene skills and access to preventive dental care for less advantaged children in the Albury/Wodonga region to enable future improvements in their oral health. Sun Smiles is supported by "Commonwealth Bank", the dental industry, many volunteer oral health professionals and Bachelor of Oral Health students from Charles Sturt University's Albury Campus. Together we make a real difference and put a smile on the faces of many children less fortunate than ourselves!

Midnight Basketball Program

This program helps to keep youth that are disadvantaged off the streets. The Carevan Foundation has signed up to provide the meals for the children & helpers for the Midnight Basketball program. Midnight Basketball is a fantastic program that runs on a Friday night at the PCYC in East Albury, which provides education, nutritious meals and a basketball competition for youth that are disengaged from our community. This initiative helps to keep the kids off the streets, gives them something to do and provides a safe environment for them to spend a Friday night.
